Mexico downs Puerto Rico in Game 2 of the Caribbean Series.
David Reyes threw 7.0 innings giving up just 1 run on 4 hits to pick up the win for Mexico. Adrian Gusman and David Gutierrez both pitched scoreless innings to finish off the game. Ronnie Williams went 4.0 innings giving up 3 runs to take the loss.
Reynaldo Rodriguez led the offensive attach for Mexico going 3-for-4 and scoring a pair of runs. Michael Wielansky (1-for-5) and Japhet Amador (1-for-3) both drove in a pair of runs in the 8-1 victory. Billy Hamilton scored twice and stole a pair of bases in the 2nd inning.
Puerto Rico has today off while Mexico will take on Venezuela in the nightcap.
