The first ever UAE Series will take place this February as the new league Baseball United slowly rolls out its product. The two teams competing will be the Arabia Wolves and the Mid East Falcons.
The event will take place February 14-16 at Baseball United Ballpark at The Sevens. A few former MLB players will take part in the series including former New York Yankees Didi Gregorius and Robinson Cano. Both will suit up for the Wolves. The Falcons will have former San Francisco Giants players Pablo Sandoval and Alejandro de Aza.
Each team will feature 5 prospects from the region playing pro ball for the first time. This could be a great way to grow the sport in the Middle East. Time will tell.
