Our goal is to provide quality, original articles combined with relevant news from some of the best baseball websites covering international baseball. This upcoming offseason, BaseballdeWorld will introduce a variety of daily full-length feature articles that will promote the international baseball scene in a unique way.

U.S. Coverage
Starting in 2009, BaseballdeWorld will provide its readers with regular NCAA baseball news from top leagues like the Pac-10, Big 12 and many others.  Also, a variety of MLB team blogs will be introduced after the Beijing Olympics with daily musings about the Yankees, Red Sox, Rays and a couple of other Major League squads.  If you’re looking for interesting news from America…you’ve come to the right place.

Philosophy
The Internet Marketing Age has resulted in too many “smoke and mirror” baseball websites whose main objective is to get their readers to click as many pages as possible on each visit. Sure, it’s great when our readers surf 15 to 20 pages on each visit. However, we like it better when our readers tell their friends about us and make BaseballdeWorld part of their daily habit.

Future
While the global game of baseball will not be on the schedule for the 2012 London Olympic Games, the World Baseball Classic and a “new and improved” World Baseball Cup provides the sport a very bright future. And, BaseballdeWorld is betting on IBAF President, Dr. Harvey Schiller (formerly President of TBS Sports, Southeastern Conference commissioner, and CEO of YankeeNets), to get baseball back on the Olympic card in 2016.
