Former Big Leaguer Playing this Summer in Italy, Mark Teahen

Former contributor to BaseballdeWorld Gabriel Fidler recently talked to a former big leaguer playing this summer in Italy, Mark Teahen. The former Royals star will be suiting up for Tommasin Padova this summer.

Fidler, who contributed here with some in depth posts on the WBC in 2013, has been writing for both Mister-Baseball and at his own site at Extra Innings: Baseball Around the World. Be sure to follow Gabriel on Twitter as well as read his articles at Extra Innings. You can find him tweeting at @Extrainnings_bb.

I found it interesting how Teahen came to play in Italy as well as how playing there will impact his other business, a wine room. Gabriel and Mark talked a good bit of baseball and wine and it is all a good read.

Check out the interview with Mark Teahen here.

We will definitely be following Mark’s progress with Padua in the IBL which should be an interesting ride. You can follow Mark on Twitter – @MarkTeahen and follow his progress this summer.

Italy, Mark Teahen
