Colombia Defeats Host Brazil at 13th South American Baseball Championships

CUIABÁ, Brazil – Colombia took the lead in the standings of the 13th South American Baseball Championships with an 8-3 victory over host Brazil on Tuesday. It was Brazil’s first loss of the tournament, while Colombia remained undefeated.

In other action on Tuesday Argentina blew out Peru 23-2. Argentina remains in third place with a 2-2 record.

13th South American Baseball Championship Standings:

1. Colombia 3-0
2. Brazil 2-1
3. Argentina 2-2
4. Peru 1-2
5. Bolivia 0-3
