Japan: Yulieski Gourriel will return to Yokohama in 2015

Ben Badler of Baseball America has announced that Cuban star Yulieski Gourriel will return to Japan to play for the 2015 season. He will return to the Yokohama DeNA BayStars where he will play along side his younger brother Lourdes Gourriel.

Yulieski Gourriel is currently playing for the Vegueros de Pinar del Rio in the 2014 Caribbean Series. Gourriel and Pinar del Rio lost today in the first game of the tournament 2-1 to Mexico.

Gourriel joined the BayStars in the middle of last season in Japan and put up great numbers. In just 62 games he hit .305 with 11 home runs and 73 hits including 22 doubles.
