2013 #Blogathon Begins; Together We Can Make a Difference

Welcome to the 2013 BaseballdeWorld #Blogathon. I’m prepared to blog for the next 24 hours in hopes to raise some money for The V Foundation to help in its efforts of cancer research. I hope you will join me in this endeavor.

I have a myriad of topics to write about, but if there are questions you have I invite you to ask away. You can ask here in the comments below, on Facebook, via Twitter, or via email. I not only look forward to any questions you have, baseball or otherwise, but it would also help me out in the end.

Just a reminder that every dollar that you donate will enter your name into a raffle for some great prizes including DVDs and t-shirts.

We have already reached 28.6% of our goal before we even started the #blogathon, so please help us reach it over the next 48 hours. After I am finished posting today, I have quite a few stories from other writers and baseball people to share with you. I’m grateful for their help and yours.

Together we can make a difference. So please take a moment to donate now if you haven’t done so already. It only takes a minute and what would normally be a cup of coffee could go a long way today.

And as a reminder, you can follow all of the #Blogathon posts here. Also please share on your favorite social media sites so we can spread the word and raise some money.

Thank you

The V Foundation was founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano. It is dedicated to saving lives by searching for a cure for cancer and by creating an awareness of the importance of the war on cancer. You can help the cause by donating now.
