I’m a huge fan of vintage shits, especially old defunct baseball teams. I’ve long been a fan of the collection that Ebbets Field Flannels puts out every year.
I picked up one a few years back and still get a lot of people asking me about it when I wear it. They have a nice selection of old teams whether it be old Pacific League teams or some Negro League teams as well.
And now I’m happy to see another company getting into the mix, Charlie Hustle. Located in Kansas City, Charlie Hustle has just come to terms with the Negro League Hall of Fame to produce a line of Negro League tees. Looking at what they have already done, including some really good basketball and football ones, I know they are going to do a great job with their new line.
You can pick up a t-shirt before they are even released to the public by supporting the Charlie Hustle Negro League Collection Kickstarter campaign. I’ve already posted my pledge to the effort and I’m excited to pick up a shirt when they are released.
If you are a fan of old vintage team t-shirts, then check them out. You can view the Charlie Hustle current line here.
Check them out and let me know what you think. My favorite so far is one from the old Federal League:
