Teams are Set for the 2013 Senior League World Series

BANGOR, Maine – The teams are set for the 2013 Senior League World Series in Maine. The ten teams will battle in two separate pools with the top two finishers in pool play to advance to the semifinals.

Pool A consists of four international teams and the host team from Bangor, Maine. Pool B consists of five teams from different regions in the USA.

Pool A:

Asia-Pacific – Illam Central L.L., Makait City, Philippines
Canada – Cape Breton L.L., District 1, Nova Scotia
US West – Pearl City L.L., Pearl City, Hawaii
US Southeast – Martinez-Evans L.L., Martinez, Ga.
Host – Maine District 3, East/West L.L., Bangor

Pool B:

US Central – Clear Ridge L.L., Chicago, Ill.
US East – Kennett Square KAU L.L., Kennett Square, Pa.
Latin America – Chitre L.L., Chitre, Herrera, Panama
US Southwest – Northside L.L., Laredo, Texas
Europe & Africa – Emilia L.L., Emilia, Italy

Pool play will begin on Sunday August 11 and continue until August 15. The semifinals will continue the following day Friday August 16 with the Championship Game coming on Saturday August 17. The Championship Game will be broadcast live on ESPNU.
