The Brisbane Bandits of the Australian Baseball League are moving to a new home for the 2013/2014 season. They will now call Holloway Field home after spending the first three years at RNA Showgrounds.
Holloway Field offers many upgrades for Bandits fans. They will now be closer to the action, have better catering options, and the location might be the best part. Fans will now be able to easily access the stadium via car, train, bicycle, bus, or even on foot.
Plus Holloway Field is historic in Queensland, Australia. Over the years the field has seen Claxton Shield contests and gives the team a baseball only facility.
The field opened in 1964 and has long been the home to the Windsor Royals Sports Club. It was refurbished in 1982 and again in 1986.
