2012 Senior League World Series Enters Semi-Finals

BANGOR, Maine – The 2012 Senior League World Series has reached the semi-final stage. With the international and US teams mixed in the pools, three American teams advanced to the semi-finals.

Latin America and the US West team out of Lemon Grove, California remain undefeated winning their respective pools. Finishing as runner-up were the US Southeast out of Brevard County, Florida and the US Central out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The US Central out of Michigan finished tied with the US East out of Massachusetts with the Central advancing based on their 7-6 victory over the East.

The two semi-final games will take place Friday August 17th with the championship coming Saturday August 18th.

Friday August, 17th
11:30am Southeast vs Latin America
2:30pm Central vs West

Friday August 18th
2pm Championship Game
