2012 Women’s Baseball World Cup: Canada Blows Lead but Makes Comeback Against USA

The 2012 Women’s Baseball World Cup continues this week in Canada. Host Canada has continued to stay unbeaten taking down the #2 world ranked USA 15-9 on Day 4.

In one of the most interesting games so far Canada blew a 8-1 lead in the final inning as the USA scored 7 runs to force extra innings. However, the American pitching staff imploded in extra innings throwing wild pitch after wild pitch to allow Canada to score 7 runs on only 1 hit in the top of the 8th inning.

Cuba 0, Japan 10
