The Rouen Huskies just needed one game this past weekend to complete their three game sweep of the Savigny Lions after winning the first two games the previous week. With the 7-3 win, Rouen advances to the 2012 French Division I Finals where they will face the Senart Templiers.
Senart defeated Paris UC twice this weekend (7-2 and 4-0) to take the series 3-games-to-1 after the two teams split the previous weekend.
Rouen is playing in its 9th championship series in the past 10 years.
The Finals will begin this weekend at Senart starting Friday. Game 2 will be Saturday and then the following weekend the best-of-5 series will move to Rouen.
