Alexis Olmeda (2-for-3 followed up with a RBI double later in the inning as Puerto Rico took the lead and would never give it up again. Puerto Rico would score 1 more in the 5th inning and put the game away with 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6th on a Rafael Olivaras (1-for-2) 2-RBI single.
Ereven Roper had a good day for South Carolina going 2-for-3 with a run scored. Stephen McKnight chipped in with 2 hits in 3 at bats driving in a run.
