Czech Republic: AVG Draci Brno Takes Two from Eagles Prague

CZECH REPUBLIC – AVG Draci Brno (12-4) swept a doubleheader against Eagles Prague, 14-1 and 11-0, this past weekend in the Czech Baseball League. The 16-time reigning league champion, boasting the league’s best pitching staff, has allowed just 47 runs while the batting lineup tops the league with 160 scores.

Kotlarka Prague extended its winning streak to nine games with a pair of 8-6 victories over Technika Brno Saturday. Kotlarka (15-3) is the frontrunner and is followed by second-place Draci.

The sweeps continued as the Arrows Ostrava took two games against NAVISYS Hrosi Brno, 7-3 and 6-4, while MZLU Express Brno turned back Skokani Olomouc twice, 13-8 and 9-5.
