DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – The Este Toros continue their dominance of the Dominican Winter League. With only 1 game left in the round robin playoffs, the Estrellas and Leones are tied.
The Toros will finish out the round robin with a game Sunday versus the Cibao Gigantes. They will then face the winner of the final game between the Orientales Estrellas and the Escogido Leones.
The winner of the Leones and Estrellas game will face the Toros in a best-of-9 game series to determine the champions of the Dominican Winter Baseball League. The champion will then represent the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Series in Puerto Rico starting February 2nd.
ESPN3.com (in Spanish) will be showing the finals online or you can watch on TV if you have ESPN Deportes. Check your local internet or cable provider for times/channels.
