UNITED STATES – Outfielders Matt Holiday (Cardinals) and Jason Bay (Red Sox) headline the 120 Major Leaguers who have filed for free agency since the World Series. Also, nearly 60 other potentially eligible players have until Nov. 19 to decide if they will test the free agent market.

John Lackey (Angels), Rich Harden (Cubs), Erik Bedard (Mariners) and Randy Wolf (Dodgers) highlight a bevy of starting pitchers who will be looking for new suitors next season. Other high-profile free agent hurlers includes John Smoltz (Cardinals), J.J. Putz (Mets) and Brett Myers (Phillies).

A slew of big bats will be swinging for the fences in new uniforms next spring. Jermaine Dye (White Sox), Marlon Byrd (Rangers), Vladimir Guerrero (Angels), Hank Blalock (Rangers) and Miguel Tejada (Astros) are just some of the offensive players who have filed for free agency.
