SOUTH KOREA – The Kia Tigers unleashed a 15-hit attack and extended their winning streak to five games with a 12-2 rout over the LG Twins on Tuesday at Jamsil, Seoul. The Tigers, who currently lead the Korea Baseball Organization standings, improved to 53-37-4 on the season.

Choi Hee-sup did the most damage with a pair of home runs and six RBIs as Kia beat LG for the third consecutive time. Jang Seong-ho had three hits and Kim Sang-hyun added two hits for the Tigers.

Yang Hyun-jong allowed just two runs in eight innings to earn the win, while Kim Kwang-su was charged with the loss.
