JAPAN – The Softbank Hawks continued their winning ways with a 5-0 shutout against the Yokohama BayStars to grab a share of the Pacific League lead on the last day of interleague play Sunday.
Munenori Kawasaki, Yuya Hasegawa and Nobuhiro Matsuda each smacked solo home runs at Yokohama Stadium for the Hawks.
Toshiya Sugiuchi (7-1) tossed his first shutout of the season allowing just three hits with seven strikeouts.
