JAPAN – The Softbank Hawks continued their winning ways with a 5-0 shutout against the Yokohama BayStars to grab a share of the Pacific League lead on the last day of interleague play Sunday.

Munenori Kawasaki, Yuya Hasegawa and Nobuhiro Matsuda each smacked solo home runs at Yokohama Stadium for the Hawks.

Toshiya Sugiuchi (7-1) tossed his first shutout of the season allowing just three hits with seven strikeouts.

Atsushi Nomi (3-4) allowed two runs and four hits in five innings and closer Kyuji Fujikawa picked up his seventh save to lead Hanshin past Rakuten at Koshien Stadium.

Kazuhiro Wada hit a grand slam and Yudai Kawai tossed six shutout innings to lift Chunichi over Orix for its third consecutive win at the Nagoya Dome.

Eishin Soyogi drilled a go-ahead two-run shot in the sixth and Hiroshima dealt Nippon Ham its first loss in three games at Mazda Stadium.
