NETHERLANDS – The reigning Dutch Major League titleholders captured their seventh straight win with a 11-3 rout over ADO.
Amsterdam starter Adam Blackley walked the first two batters he faced to start the game, and Michel Korzeniewski’s two-out RBI single gave ADO an early 1-0 advantage. But the Pirates scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning to go on top.
Vince Rooi doubled off ADO starter Jurrian Koks to start the rally, and after Zaïr Koeiman reached later on a fielder’s choice, Björn Henrichs and Wesley Connor tallied RBI singles for a 2-1 lead.
Amsterdam stranded five runners over the next two frames before adding two more runs in the fifth on a double by Koeiman. In the seventh, the European heavyweight scored four more runs – including a three-run shot by Fausto Álvarez Rizo – to make the score 8-1. ADO added two runs an inning later but Koeiman, who was 3-for-5 with five RBIS, teed off on reliever Jeoffrey de Groot in the bottom of the frame for a three-run drive to end the scoring.
KINHEIM SUBDUES MR. COCKER HCAW

HCAW rallied in the bottom of the inning to knot the game at 4-4. A pair of two-run hits by Adrian Anthony and Bart Gabriëls gave the home side new hope while chasing Kinheim starter Patrick Beljaards.
Both squads traded runs before Dirk van ‘t Klooster’s two-run single in the eighth gave Kinheim the lead for good, 7-5. A three-run shot off the bat of Tjerk Smeets capped a five-run ninth to seal the victory for the Haarlem team.

NEPTUNUS SQUEAKS PAST KONICA MINOLTA
Konica Minolta built a 5-0 lead but committed four errors late in the game to fall 6-5 to DOOR Neptunus in 10 innings at Rotterdam.
Neptunus starter Diegomar Markwell started the game in fine fashion retiring the first nine batters to step into the batter’s box. However, the Pioniers plated five runs in the fifth and seemed headed for an apparent win.
Jeffrey Arends’ RBI single in the ninth plated Railey Legito with the tying run, and Neptunus capitalized on a throwing error by Mark Duursma in extra innings to steal the comeback victory.
