USA – The Lake Erie Crushers, the new professional baseball team gearing up to play ball in Lorain County this summer, are scouting for friendly, reliable candidates to fill more than 100 seasonal, game-day positions this summer. The team is looking to fill a number of roles, including but not limited to, concessions, ushers, ticket takers, cleaning crews, promotions, guest services and parking attendants.

“The most important quality we look for in candidates is a great attitude and customer service skills,” said General Manager Ryan Gates.

“The fans’ interaction with our staff can make or break their experience at our ballpark. Our goal is to provide our fans with top-notch customer service. When fans leave the park each evening, we want them to be planning their next All Pro Freight Stadium visit, thanks to not only an exciting baseball game, but also because of a great overall experience.”

All positions are seasonal, part-time roles and will conclude at the end of the baseball season. The season begins in late May and runs through the beginning of September. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 30 games to be considered.  Compensation will begin at $7.30 per hour. Per federal labor laws, candidates must be at least 16 years or have a valid work permit.

The team will host a one-day job fair where they will accept applications and conduct interviews. The job fair will take place on Saturday, April 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lorain County Community College’s John A. Spitzer Conference Center. The Conference Center is located at 1005 North Abbe Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035. Applicants are requested to park in Parking Lot 4 of Lorain County Community College and enter the John A. Spitzer Conference Center from the South Entrance.
