USA – Although 2008 Florida Class 6A state champion Lake Brantley lost several key performers, the
reigning title-holders should still be a force this upcoming season. Other teams to beat in Class 6A includes Oviedo and West Orange.
Oviedo high school staff ace A.J. Cole is considered one of the best pitching prospects in the nation, while West Orange all-everything senior Blake Dieterich – who fanned 111 batters a year ago – has already committed to play for the University of Georgia.
