You Young-koo Gets KBO Nod Again

SOUTH KOREA – Free of political pressure, You Young-koo was once again nominated for the position of
commissioner at the Korea Baseball Organization yesterday.
At their board meeting, team presidents unanimously decided yesterday to nominate You, the 62-year-old vice chairman of the Korea Sports Council and director of Myongji Academy.
After obtaining the club presidents’ recommendation, the candidate must receive three-quarters of votes at the KBO general assembly of team owners, which will be held no later than the 15th of this month.
