USA – The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Kansas City Royals Minor League
outfielder Jarrod Dyson has received a 50-game suspension after testing positive for an amphetamine, a performance-enhancing substance, in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
The suspension of Dyson will be effective at the start of the 2009 season. Most recently Dyson played for Single-A Wilmington of the Carolina League.
