Darryl Strawberry To Release New York Mets Tell-All Book In April
By admin on Thursday, 12th February 2009USA – Former major league slugger Darryl Strawberry will be releasing a book detailing the behind-the-scenes
exploits of the New York Mets in the mid-1980s.
According to FOXSports.com, the book (Straw: Finding My Way) by the former All-Star outfielder with a long history of substance abuse will hit book stores sometime in April.
“We were the boys of summer. The drunk, speed-freak, sneaking-a-smoke boys of summer,” wrote Strawberry. “(An) infamous rolling frat party . . . drinking, drugs, fights, gambling, groupies.”
