NETHERLANDS – Mark Duursma, Lindsey Meadows and Ciro Ricardo are the Most Valuable Players of the 2008 baseball and softball season. The three were honored Saturday-afternoon by the Royal Dutch Baseball and Softball Association (KNBSB) during the Stars Awards at the Head Office of the Federation in Nieuwegein.

Rob Cordemans, Lindsey Meadows and Roman Matuska were named Best Pitcher, while other awards were handed out in several other (statistical) categories as well as for the best youth players and the Coaches of the Year.
