MEXICO – Former Braves farmhand Iker Franco homered and drove in two runs and former Eastern League All-Star Sergio Santos went 4-for-4 with a run scored as the Obregon Yaquis won their third straight with a 3-2 win against Guasave. Rafael Cruz allowed two runs on eight hits over 6 1/3 innings for Obregon.

Hermosillo 4, Culiacan 1
Major League veteran Humberto Cota homered twice and drove in three runs as the Naranjeros handed the Tomateros their fifth straight loss. Five pitchers combined on a six-hitter for Hermosillo.

Mochis 5, Navojoa 1
Former big leaguer Juan Pena struck out six over five innings to improve to 4-0 as the Caneros halted a two-game slide. Omar De La Torre had two hits, including a solo homer, for Los Mochis.
