Florida Youth League Registration Nears

USA - South Fort Myers Little League will hold registration for the 2009 Season at Rutenberg Park on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday Dec. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

New players should bring a copy of his or her birth certificate and parents proof of residence in south Fort Myers. Fee is $100 for the season. Registration can be made onlinle. Returning players can also register by mail.

* San Carlos Little League will hold sign-ups from 6 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 5, 12 and 19 at Three Oaks Community Park.

* The SWFL Babe Ruth League will hold registration for baseball and softball (ages 4-18) in the coming weeks. Registration will be held at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Gulfcoast Town Center, on Dec. 5, 12 and 19 (6-9 p.m.), Dec. 6, 13 and 20 (9 a.m.-12 p.m.), Jan. 2 and 9 (6-9 p.m.) and Jan. 3 and 10 (9 a.m.-12 p.m.).
