USA – Want to have the opportunity to come to work every day at an office located at the “Ballpark of the Year.”? Enjoy being around the game and wish that there was a way you could get paid for your passion? Well, possibilities may await you.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals currently are hiring for two front office positions: Special Events Manager, and Account Executive, as well as several part-time seasonal positions.

The Special Events Manager position books, organizes, and identifies potential clients and partnerships for special events at Arvest Ballpark. These special events include private parties, team building, charitable events, large scale festivals, and any activities at Arvest Ballpark outside of Naturals baseball games.

This past season, some of the special events at Arvest Ballpark included the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the Cancer Challenge Walk, a private Tyson Foods concert featuring Willie Nelson, and a Joe Nichols country concert.

The ideal candidate for the Special Events Manager position has a strong current knowledge of the sales and marketing landscape in Northwest Arkansas, and has a high level of professionalism and integrity and ability to multi-task and work extended hours particularly during the summer months.

The primary function of the Account Executive position is to generate sales revenue through corporate marketing programs, specifically sponsorship, advertising, promotions, luxury suites and season tickets. Candidates should be highly-organized, have two years of sales or customer service experience, and have the ability to work extended hours particularly during the summer months.

Seasonal positions are part-time positions that usually begin in January or February and last until after the season ends. Seasonal associates are paid a monthly stipend. The Naturals have seasonal positions available in the following areas:

Marketing, PR/Media Relations, Gameday Operations, Stadium Operations, and Grounds Crew. Some seasonal associates may be considered for full-time openings after completion of the season. Please visit our website, www.nwanaturals.com for more

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and will open the home portion of their 2009 season on Thursday, April 16th against the San Antonio Missions.
