USA – One wouldn’t know it by his record, but Kyle Bobolts always has felt a bit more comfortable off a pitching mound.

That’s hard to believe from a pitcher who helped Middleville to its first baseball championship in 27 years with nearly a flawless season.

The Trojans senior said he likely will put pitching aside after committing to play at Oakland University next season. Bobolts said Oakland prefers him as a middle infielder rather than a pitcher who has a 15-3 record in two varsity seasons.
