USA – West Oahu’s Mark Hallberg has been named the 2008 Most Valuable Player in Hawaii Winter Baseball
(HWB). The squad is selected by league officials and media representatives.
Honolulu ace Satoshi Nagai claimed the Pitcher of the year Award while Cyle Hankerd (West Oahu) garnered Offensive Player of the year honors. Waikiki’s Marquez Smith was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Year.
