Plano West Ben Flora Named Top Dallas Prep Player
By admin on Monday, 27th October 2008USA – The 2008 Dallas Morning News High School Player of the Year, Plano West southpaw Ben Flora, is the latest in a long line of Texas prep pitching prospects which includes Homer Bailey and Blake Beaven.
An accomplished sand volleyball player, Flora was 13-0 with a 0.91 ERA and struck out 112 in 77 innings. In the playoffs, he was 5-0 with a 0.37 ERA, including a win in the state semifinal. He has signed with Texas Tech.
