JAPAN – Terrmel Sledge hit a three-run homer and Kensuke Tanaka drove in a pair of runs Sunday as the Nippon Ham Fighters beat the Seibu Lions 7-4 to even the second stage of the Pacific League Climax Series playoffs two games apiece.

Nippon Ham won Game 2 and 3 after PL champion Seibu was given a one-win advantage at the start of the series for finishing the regular season in first place and took Game 1 for a 2-0 lead. Four wins are needed for a spot in the Japan Series against the Central League playoff winner.
