DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – ESPN Deportes will be telecasting 26 Dominican Baseball League games this season, mainly on Fridays nights and Sunday afternoons. Exclusive coverage begins November 2 with the Leones del Escogido pitted against Tigres del Licey.

The Dominican Baseball League consists of six teams which plays a 50-game schedule, and the top four teams advance to the playoffs. The league champion then goes on to represent the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Series.

Notable player’s from the Dominican Republic includes Juan Marichal, Manny Ramirez, David Ortiz, and Jose Reyes.
