CZECH REPUBLIC – The top three teams in the Czech League continued their winning ways this past weekend with impressive victories.
League-leading Draci Brno rolled past the Krc Altron Eagles 11-7 and 8-3 to captured their seventh consecutive win while improving their card to 21-3. The reigning champions are holding opposing teams to less than three runs a game.
The second-place Ostrava Arrows claimed their fourth straight win disposing of Black Hill Blansko 10-5 and 11-1 to improve to 18-8 on the season. Black Hill dropped to 3-24.
Third-place Technika Brno struggled but squeaked past the Tegola Titans twice to run their record to 15-12. Technika won the first game 11-8 before nipping the Titans 11-10 in the twinbill finale to post their fourth win in a row. Tegola’s record fell to 10-17.
The final matchup pitting MZLU Express (12-12) and Skokani Olomouc (11-12) ended with the Express sweeping both games, 5-4 and 7-2.
