CZECH REPUBLIC – Draci Brno continues to lead the Czech League after posting three wins earlier in the week to improve their season record to 19-3.
The reigning league champions held last-place Black Hill Blansko (3-22) to just a lone run in two easy wins (10-1 and 5-0) to begin the week before escaping with a 5-3 victory over MZLU Express (9-12) on Wednesday.
Jon Dobyns clubbed a three-run blast and reliever Michael Koci was golden out of the bullpen to lead Technika Brno to a 9-6 win over Skokani Olomouc on Wednesday. Technika has posted a 13-12 card so far this season while Skokani Olomouc dropped to 11-10.
Draci will battle Krc Altron (10-10) in doubleheader action on Saturday while MZLU Express will clash with Skokani Olomouc, and Technika will square off against the Tempo Titans (10-14).
On Sunday, the Ostrava Arrows (16-8) will play a twinbill against Black Hill and the MZLU Express will collide with the Tempo Titans.
