Action in the Dutch Major Leagues resumes on August 16 with a slate of exciting games. League-leading Corendon Kinheim will meet the Amsterdam Pirates on Saturday in a key matchup.

Perennial powerhouse DOOR Neptunus (25-7-1) will battle Mr. Cocker-Hague (13-19-1) on Thursday. Top hitters Railey LEGITO (.342) and Johnny BALENTINA (.333) pace Neptunus.

The Amsterdam Pirates (19-14-1) will meet Sparta/Feyenoord (12-19-2) on Thursday in an interesting contest. Fausto ALVAREZ (.346) and Sidney DE JONG (.333) are the top offensive threats for Amsterdam while Dwayne KEMP (.333) and Ramphis TRINIDAD (.319) lead Sparta.

The Almere Magpies (11-23) will face the Media Monks (10-23-1) on August 12 in a battle of the league cellar. Derrick FRANCISCA (.318) paces Almere while the league’s top hitter - Ryan MURPHY (.385) – anchors the MediaMonks offense.
